I decided to set my h4 outside my door today and record some of the birds in the area and what not, you can here some cars in the neighborhood here and there and some other little noises.

When i was leaving target my car was parked next to the drain above, the sun was out and some of the snow and ice had started to melt and work its way towards the drain so i decided to take some recordings of it. \

While at work last night griding up some plastic i decided to get out my h4 and record some of the sound of one of the grinders, i wanted to process the sound into a nice texture.

Tonight at work i was writing down some notes for some things ive been working on sound wise and i came up with some ideas for a performance i have been wanting to do for some time now and i think it will go well as soon as i get the ball rolling more.

While changing the lp tank on my forklift i have always liked the sounds it makes when being tapped so i decided to take a little clip below, i love the natural reverb it has to it.

I woke up this morning with a loud roar of birds coming from out side so i decided to go look and there were tons of them flying around and perched everywhere so i went back inside and threw on some shoes and grabbed my camera to go shoot some clips which can be viewed below.

This is a flood light i picked up from work i really like it for the looks alone but it makes some really lovely tones, i decided to take it home and hook up my contact mic to it and tap on it some, I recorded the tones using my zoom h4 and then placed it into a generative chain inside ableton live to process it. Below is a video showing the bulb as well as the sound made from it.

On my way home from work, I decided to stop at a bridge that I had seen some guys parked near to do some fishing. So, I decided to give it a go and got my little shoulder bag and headed off.

Here is a recording taken using a mic made out of a speaker held to the ceiling under the bridge, i recorded cars as then came onto the bridge.
