I decided to set my h4 outside my door today and record some of the birds in the area and what not, you can here some cars in the neighborhood here and there and some other little noises.

I woke up this morning with a loud roar of birds coming from out side so i decided to go look and there were tons of them flying around and perched everywhere so i went back inside and threw on some shoes and grabbed my camera to go shoot some clips which can be viewed below.

While I was at my friend's apartment this weekend, I woke up to a decent sized group of birds singing. So, I grabbed my h4 really quickly and crept outside

I wanted to test out my soundman in ear mics with the h4 and i think they sound really well with it, i was worried that you would be able to hear them shift or the wind would be to much but they worked out just right.

last night i took apart my K&M mic stand to make a boom for field recording and when i was just getting some sleep this morning the mail man came knocking on the door with my H4 so i have not slept much today but it is well worth it. I decided to give the setup a little test run on some birds, im still learning all the settings and what levels are going to work best for it but im rather happy with it for the most part.
