While i was out recording in the woods i could hear someone pull out where i had parked so after a little bit and having my recorder die i decided to go back to my car, i was going to put my batteries from my camcorder into my h4 but i figured i would just keep them in my cam because chances were good someone was still at my car.

Heres are two videos i took, the first one is me walking to my car and the second is of me walking up as the guy is on the phone with the police.

After talking with the guy, the church i parked my car in has been broken into several times recently, so i do kinda understand him wondering where i was and why my car was there.

I was driving home and as i was about to take my last turn onto my street i seen this abandoned house from the road so i decided to go around to a church around the corner and walk into the woods.

Below is a little clip of me walking to the house,

I started to take a little recording of the area, you could hear a wide range of things from cars to birds and other natural ambience, only problem was my batteries were not fully charged and started to die so i only took about a 30 second recording here.

I pulled out my kalimba tonight to mess around with and while doing so i found some tones i really liked so i decided to process away. I made a four chain setup in ableton and placed the sounds inside each one, below is a little video taken during the making.

I decided to go and setup my camera outside on my porch after i updated my blog with the last post, i wanted to get a longer recording of the rain falling, you can hear the thunder rolling in the distance but nothing to loud on that end. 

Below is a little video i took standing out on my little porch area.

I decided to record a higher quality audio version of the rain, i put the recorder in between my outside doors.

I may throw some of this sound into live and mess around with it a bit, but ill post that in another blog if i have the chance.

So yea i work in a plastic molding plant as a material handler, its not the most amazing job but it pays the bills and funds any adventure i have wanted to take my work on thus far so i cant complain.

one thing i have loved since day one is all the different sounds going on around you, there is so much noise from plastic dryers, forklifts, machines and everything else possible its really amazing on the ears.

I really like sitting out back at work and listening to the cars go by when i have time, with the natural drone of the plant in the background its really soothing to have this on really aggravating nights, which is almost every night.

 I decided to sit down with my lapharp and start to mess around with some stuff, i plucked and bowed it recording the sounds using my macbook mic recording into live, i went from having something very melodic to working more into a deeper graining drone of sorts.

I woke up this morning to this loud sound from across the room, my first thought was that my heater was broken i then realized that the sound was coming from rain hitting it so i decided to setup my camera to record a little clip of it. It reminds me a little of a video my friend did with a piece of sheet metal and water dripping.

I went to my parents house to pick up some papers and then go by the atm, while there it was a little windy and i could hear a wind chime my mom had by the front door so i decided to pull out my little camera and record the video clip above to bring the sounds back and process.

Yesterday i went over to my parents house to pick up a few things i had left there, while inside i left my camera on my dash facing to the clouds to recording some footage for a little time lapse video. The audio is a generative processed version of the "m i ll to w n"  tracks.
